Interesting.
We'll see the current value of this rare breed...

This is a sweet one. Would prefer a XJR, sportier in my eyes. But would definitely would be an upgrade over mine.

Why would you need to bring a trailer to take this one home???

I have a 2004 Super V8 which is a wonderful car but this Portfolio is absolutely amazing. Back in about 2008 I was offered a one owner one of these from my local main dealer , I still use them now for my current Jaguars, when I was in the process of changing my 2000 x308 but at the time did not want a black car and it was a bit out of my budget at it was newer than I was looking for , I actually bought a red x350 ( not the Super ) , my goodness the rarity of these now makes me realise what I missed

Will that be a one off or will it be confirmed by other sale prices in next auctions?
This sale may trigger other offers, waiting for the next one...

Have I missed the memo, or is the portfolio exactly the same as a super V8 with different interior wood and the rear has a fixed center console that can't flip up trading a 5th passenger for 2 extra cup holders??

There has got to be something more here to command that $$$.

To the OP, the presentation on BringaTrailer was extremely well done, and the car spotless. While those of us without Portfolio's wont be able to replicate certain (numerous) aspects of your sale (e.g., it's a Portfolio, only 2 owners, original window sticker, low mileage), would you mind sharing the preparation work you did in getting the car ready / photographed for BAT?

Incredible result... double what I thought something like that would bring really, but in this crazy market, when your 2006 can check all the desirable boxes like that one can and its unlikely another like it will come around anytime soon, this can happen.

That was certainly a nice example, but the buyer had owned one new and traded it. He regretted it and wasn't going to let this one get away. He said what he paid reflected his opinion of the 06 Super V8 Portfolio. Hopefully, it was a passion buy and doesn't define the market.

Believe the resale these cars, has about bottomed out.
As supply of them dwindles, the price will increase.
Along with the price increases, of the newer models.

This appears to be another SV8, but non Portfolio. No pics, but worth a look if you are in the area.

And here is another...

I am starting to think I need to either buy one of these or go find a better use of my time!

This one seems sketchy. As I am always in the market for anther SC x350/x358 this one does not add up as the pictures are from an old for sale ad: https://www.dennydotson.com/svdp/465...stown-OH-43031

Current registration shows Florida however the car is on craigslist in GA?

Seller was quick to respond about pictures but then went dark after asking about updated pictures.

I'm about to list my 2005 XJR for sale in the next week. I work from home permanently and rarely drive it. I also have a truck that is needed and two vehicles is an already crowded driveway is tough to negotiate. Hope i can get a nice fair price for Lady J. I'll report back on here on the sale price, etc.

Here is a new one. A little higher mileage, but good price.

Nothing instills more confidence in a used car ad like seeing jumper cables in the trunk, lol.
