DAMN....! Thats alot of miles. I would ask myself does the guy look trust worthy. If I was selling a car I would say "in great shape" too. Also has any major work been done to the car(drivetrain and engine) and when. As with any European car, they last forever if maintained but when they break down its big spending

195k??? That is ALOT for a car thats only 6-7 years old. Its quite possible that the seller is telling the truth and that the car is in great shape, but I personally wouldnt buy a car thats less than 10 years old with that kind of mileage. Just my two cents

A car with this many miles is on the verge of hoovering up your bank account in a heart beat. If you are looking for a project car and you are capable of doing the work yourself, it may (just may) be a continder. If, however, you are looking for a satisfactory ownership experience - I don't think this is it.

Just a thought, but a car like this with a blown engine, supercharger or transmission and 195K plus miles couldn't be given away.

With this sort of miles, condition and diligence in maintenance is EVERYTHING. So if you are even to consider if it is worth buying, you need to take a long test drive and also see the service documents incl. invoices, receipts and so on, or it could be a black hole for cash. 195k means it is due its 20th service shortly. So are there records of 19 services to look at ?

Remember, parts wear out at intervals and it looks like at this mileage, there will be a lot just about to wear out, and already there should have been some replacements like brake discs etc. Of course the current owner may have looked after the car, but 195000 in 6 years means it did nearly 32,500 miles a year, so just when was the servicing done every 10,000 miles as the handbook says ?

Take the $6,000 you are considering spending on the used one and go lease a new one. I bet it will be cheaper in the long run. With a few major repairs you could easily spend an amount equal to what you are considering paying for the car.

if you press the phone button and menu button simultanously, for 3-5 sec.
and enter then the code 1971 or 917,you can get a self check, that is poor I think.but it is s self check.

ask the owner straight if he did not put some liquid in the rear end to avoid noise or stuff like this...the distribution and the rear end will ahve me confused,,tires conditions, overall last geometrie done etc...ask to see and keep a $1000 or find a lower mileage one.
offer $50 to the owner and tell him you are taking it for 100 miles otherwise you will not see anything with the suspension
