Default Good/Trunk struts

Just changed the struts that lift the hood and trunk, eBay vendors. Used two different suppliers, aftermarket of course. What a difference! About 22 bucks including shipping per pair. Like having a powered lid at each end. Also the coil overs (ARNOTT) have settled in really well now, and the car rides really properly. Last, had mech change out pan gasket that I had on hand. It's a great old car now, like it's supposed to be. Fault light for handbrake still on, could it be one of the motors I'm thinking? HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Can you removable more about how the trunk is with the new struts ? When you pop it does the trunk actually open wide?

Default Trunk/Hood struts

The struts are not supposed to open the lids, so you need to use light pressure to partially open them. Still, I hafta say: GREAT!!!
