Yes it it is... ty. I've been trying to figure out a way to come up with the 3500 by tomorrow. Cant hardly take out a loan on a totaled car either. All of my medical issues and being out of work for about 18 months did my savings in almost completely... hoping to see the reason behind all this soon!

Default Thoughts?!?!?

Ok ya'll... Wahtcha think???

107k miles. It's been for sale since December. These folks have had it since April. They're asking $14k on Craigslist. $15k on AutoTrader and their website. I am thinking I show up with $12k in crisp $100 bills and see if I can drive it home... My only issue so far is the ABOMINATION on the dash (XM Radio). Thoughts???

Sorry to hear the bad news I had the inkling

I just bought some X350 parts from a damaged X350 and when I looked at the damaged car I thought Damn I would rebuild that then I spoke to the salvage guy he said rails bent throw it away

That was also the first X350 to be scrapped in Australia he had every part sold before he scrapped it as he also thought he will just repair it but parts second hand for them are like gold apparently

Just reminds me to drive my one a bit more carefully price you have to pay to have the aluminium body shell at least you have a cheque coming that will take away some of the pain when it arrives

Time to start looking and researching

As for losing a girlfriend I would rather lose the girlfriend they are easier to find
good second hand XJR's are hard to find regardless of year and model

I know I just sold my XJR6 hand built by me over the last 7 years at least I know its going to a good home just thinking of your car being in a scrap yard not a nice thought

Good to hear you are both OK.

Someone will buy it and have an easy (although costly) repair job to put it back on the road but I'd still walk away from considering keeping it.

Ragman,

Since the X350 is constructed as an aluminum monocoque, with rivets and modern adhesives, it is possible if not likely that undercarriage damage could never be corrected by mere mortals (unless cost were truly no object). I think you are wise to walk away from this one and you shouldn't lose any sleep about it. It's the right decision.

I'm looking forward to hearing about your new Jag when the right one comes along!

Cheers,

Don

Default Yammit!

Ragman I'm really sorry to see & hear that man. Wow. I know that's a heartbreaker! Thanks to Mr. Christ that you & the wife are ok though, but I know there's still a very sad spot for the car!..
