Default Great Price on new Bilstien front shocks

Ok here is my first good deed for the group.

New OEM front air shocks for the XJ's $595 each Call Mark 619 726 2137

I have bought 4 or 5 set's of Bilstiens over the years from these guys and they have always had the best price. So I thought I would give them a call and here's the results.

Let me know how it works out.

Can somebody tell me where to buy the olive for the airline fitting to the front shock?

I guess what we all need to know: Are these the complete Bilstiens air shocks, or just a shock by itself?

Thanks

I spoke to Mark this morning, as I'm looking to replace one faulty air spring. I didn't get the Bilstein part number but, it sounds like this is the Bilstein (B4) aftermarket air spring as opposed to the OEM Jaguar part. The reason I say this is, Mark said this air spring replaces both the Comfort or Sport OEM spring, which is consistent with Bilstein's website. Jaguar part listings call for a different spring for Comfort or Sport.

That said, the price is fantastic and, if you're not concerned with a possible change in ride (some claim that it makes no difference and I have no direct experience) then it's a great deal!

Regards,
Odysseus

I read some where that the Portfolio shock was tuned in between Comfort and Sport.

Default Good Deed Failure

I just got an Email from Mark at Shox.com and the shocks were not the right ones. I have asked him for his best price for what we need, and will let you know if the price is any good.

I'm sorry for wasting anybodies time.
