I think I'd rather have the side moldings with the light than have the light be all by itself and look out of place!

 

I agree with that. Since by car is black, I do not think the existing moldings are a distraction and I appreciate their purpose of protecting against dings. I am getting the orange markers and repeaters smoked black to blend in. Hope it looks good.

 

I would not do it.
Makes the car look fat *** bottom heavy and you have no ding protection
why bother?

 

I wonder how well those strips really protect against dings. Seems to me most dings would happen at a higher point than those strips!

 

no they dont.. I bought some 06' lights for my 04' and the hole is completely different.. So I just sold the 04' and bought an 06'
