Has anyone tried the Launch X431 DiagunIV

I have tried 2 versions of the iCarsoft scanners for my 05 X-350 and neither of them would properly scan all the modules. Most notably the ECU which is very important obviously. Has anyone tried the

Launch X431 DiagunIV on an early X-350?

Seems that the 04, & 05 are not as readable as later years are.
Neither of my Jaguar specific readers, can read the 04's, engine module's information .
No issues reading the 07's information though.
