Default Headliner/Sunroof

The headliner on the sunroof shade is comming loose, and i was going to see if any of you have any tips for getting that sunroof shade out (so i can re cover it) without dropping the entire headliner since it is mostly ok and doesnt need to be redone yet.

I peeled mine all the way back cleaned all of the old yellow foam. Sprayed 3m adhesive on sliding part making sure not to get glue on headliner. I let that dry then used a spackle knife slowly to readhere the fabric.

Other than that you need to remove entire headliner and sunroof assymbly. and do not use any tape on headliner fabric to protect from spray glue. I used oaktag paper

Good luck

I doubt you can do a good repair on the shade will in situ, and if the shade is failing, surely the headliner will not be far behind? I wuold do them all, not really that difficult, apart from sphincter tightening as the board bends to come out the door.
Remember you need e-torx socket if you are moving the seats.
