Heater core plugged blowing cold on left
I am the proud new owner of a 05 XJR with cold air from the heater on the drivers side. I am ready to work on this but need a little guidance.
I have read the other threads on this issue but am having a problem finding the best place to flush the core. Do I need to remove anything to get to the heater hose connections? Is the best place from beneath the car or on top? By the firewall or the radiator? Is there a service manual available for this model?
Thanks for you help. Its cold out there

no george, we're finding them very prone to plugging on the drivers side. And we have never been able to unclog them with flushing, blowing etc. We even pulled one a blew it out, and then we cut it open totally clogged with sludge on the drivers side since its on the end loop and the coolant becomes sedimetary over the summer. replace it, you dont have to pull the dash and flush your cooling systems its not snake oil
