Turn the ignition on and wait for 20 seconds before you start the car, in that time period ask your self " do i really need bluetooth?" if you say "yes" then restart your phone and when its back on , go to settings and erase "jaguar" from the paired devices list. Then re-pair it with your jaggy it should be fine. If this doesnt help you , turn off the ignition and get outta car , get on your computer and reply this message.

Rocket, are you sure you have bluetooth installed?
I got similar message when I had only the Phone module in the trunk, but no bluetoot radio in the center console.
The BT is a bit of a hack. The car was designed to have a telephone installed in the center console. The BT radio gizmo emulates the V60 Motorola phone. If you don't have either the phone module in the trunk is just confused and you get this message.
If you do have BT, check the connection between the BT module in the center console and the PSE in the trunk, may be your cables are giving you grief.
Hope this helps,
Venelin

By disconnecting the battery, you performed all computer "resets" you could do.
You establshed your BT module behaves as if it's disconnected. My humble guess would be either cable between the BT module and the PSE, or the BT module is dead.
You could also go to a dealer and pay $150 for proper diagnostic. The jag diag software can do more sophisticated resets of computer data.
Best of luck,
Venelin
