Default help please: best way to access connector for center headliner position sensor?

Hi all - so after getting my headliner replaced, the airbag light started flashing... 1-6 is the code, which seems to have to do with the passenger spatial occupancy sensors... the little ultrasonic transducers mounted in various places (front console, a-pillar, side pillar, and headiner center behind the front seats). I can determine by using a paper towel tube that 3 out of 4 of them are working (faint rapid ticking) and the 4th one appears to be either dead or disconnected.

it is my feeling that while I COULD take it back to them to fix, the likelihood of them screwing something else up in the process is sufficiently high that i'd like to avoid it. Basically I need some specific help on how to get the headliner down enough to check the connection (or replace the part) WITHOUT having to remove the whole thing or jack with the rear seats etc.. From what I have been able to tell, the whole thing is put together like a house of cards and i'd rather not disturb more than I have to.
