I'm trying to modify my 2004 XJR fenders and add the chrome side louvers to both fenders to look like the ones on the 2008-10 models. I've seen this done before but don't know how its done and/or what to do with the side lights that come factory installed on the 2004 model. Please advise options. Also, has anyone ever used American Racing Maverick 20" inch rims? I just bought a set and I'll upload a picture. They look very similar to the castillo, but much cheaper.

 

If you want it to look factory, then you need new fenders. Otherwise take a look at this thread:
