I really need some help here

Downstairs at my garage is parked my 1994 XJ6, bad boy!

Question:

Can a faulty ignition amplifier give trouble with no spark at the ignition coil/spark plugs and make fuel pump not working?
(some XJ member mention this a few years ago, but I don´t know how the spark and the fuel pump can be connected with the ignition amplifier)

How can I check if the ignition amplifier is in good condition?

The process:

1. XJ won´t start
2. Check spark at the ignition coil, bad spark-erratic-original coil broke and in bad shape.
3. Bought a new Bosh ignition coil, got good and bright spark. (original part number)
4. But engine won´t start.
5. Tried to put some fuel into air intake to start engine, no luck engine won´t start
6. Check fuel pump and fuel relay, fuel pump not making any sound inside the fuel tank. Fuel pump Relay in good condition and getting energy. Also check the electric fuses, everything OK.....
7. Check fuel line in motor, dry and not getting fuel with key switch ON or starting engine.
8. Take apart fuel filter, found some fuel inside, but intake line (from the fuel tank) is dry and not getting fuel with key switch ON or starting engine.
9. Fuel pump dead? Maybe... So I take out the fuel pump from the fuel tank.
10. Connected the fuel pump to a 12V and fuel pump pumping and working..
11. Connected the fuel pump to the fuel line from the fuel filter to the engine, engine got fuel. Tried to start the engine, engine won´t start.
12. Check the spark from the ignition coil and with s spark plug again and NO SPARK

I think the fuel pump is OK and maybe my problem is electrical.
Can I have a bad ignition amplifier?
Is there relation between a bad ignition amplifier-no spark-fuel pump not working like the other XJ member says?

Please need help! I´m going crazy!
