Same permanent console was also available as an option on other SV8's, and Daimler Super 8's (X358) that followed, I believe.
This seems to be correct entirely.

Though, the X350 Daimler Super Eight had the same option available as seen here

That 04 Concept 8 interior looks quite different from the Photos thmsrbr took of the Concept 8 he looked at which appears to be like a normal SV8 except for the mat finish on the wood.

Perhaps the name was applied to production cars after the "Concept introduction" at the car show.

That one in the Jaguar Heritage is the proto.
It has a number of specificities such as the huge glass roof, full rear seats separation, 21" curved Callisto wheels, etc.
The final model was the one produced from summer 2005 which was the 2006 MY Super V8 Portfolio
