Feel around the lower front edge for some plastic triangler shaped "fingers". If you find them, try to move them either left or right. They are latch releases (4 of them). If they won't move, put a little downward pressure on the seat at the same point as the latch. Once you have released all 4 latches, lift the front of the seat up to unhook the rear. Be mindful of any wiring for heated seats or whatever.

For the upper part of the back seat there are two straps that should reside on the bottom of the the back cushion.

Tug on each as you pull the top of the seat back towards you.

+1 on the above however when you release each one put something in to raise the seat a bit at that point to stop it catching again as you move to the next one.

Same with abonano's suggestion. When you pull down on a strap and lever the top of the back seat out a bit put something down behind that part of the seat that will keep it from re catching a you move to the 2nd strap.

I don't know if I previously posted this youtube video I did. I just about broke my finger trying to get the seat out, but once I had it out and saw how the clips worked, it became very obvious/easy. So I videoed the clips. Hopefully this will help. If the link doesn't work, do a search on

BTW, I hadn't looked at the video in a while and see that YouTube is monetizing my video with nothing to me.... Oh well, as soon as you upload, they own it...

There's another rear seat thread where I made this reply... While the seat bottom was out, I marked a line on the carpet at the push-tabs with a sharpie. With the seat in place, the marks are not visible unless you're crawling on the floor looking for them, but you won't have to hunt around as much to find those tabs any more!
