I'm definitely in for next yr. My wife wants a BMW X6, but my plan was, next yr for our anniversary, which also is her birthday, I was going to get her a new XJL Portfolio; but in reality, that was really to satisfy "me"! Hahaha

But this fits just right for both of us, because it's a crossover, similar to the X6, but looks better, & then the obvious,,,,,,, it's a farkin JAGUAR! So I'm definitely getting 1...

 

So are you going to replace your RR with it ? I would love it but.... the wife doesn't want to give up the size of the RR and move to a downsized Jag SUV. While I love the RR I might just have to convince her to move into a XJL Port like you, (for me too, lol).

 

Ha! Yeah that was certainly my original plan to go with a Portfolio; but @the price point, & it actually being something similar to what she actually wants, I'm gonna go with this.

As for MY RRS, heck naw (in my country Memphis accent) hahaha

I don't like it, it tries to look like a sportscar (F-Type) and yet is a supersized hatchback. At least it does not look as bad as the hideous X6 or new GLE!
Plus, I don't see the point, would rather have a XF estate or Range Rover.

 

I personally don't care for the look of the X6 myself, but the wife loves it. However, I do like the look of this. & the Range Rover is just for me in our family! Hahaha

 

Jaguar is trying to compete with MB, BMW, Acura, and others in the SUV/Crossover market, which are all the rage now. Folks who where shopping for one didn't even consider Jaguar. Now they'll pull in those potential buyers.

Frankly I think the 'XJ face' that Jaguar imposes on all new models now is getting a bit long in the tooth. It looked so cool and different only 4 years ago.

My next SUV will be a RR HSE, not an F-Pace.

 

It's just the opposite for me; as of this yr, I finally started liking the new look, but b4 now, I personally could not stand the new Jags of any model...

As for "my" next SUV, we're on the same page there. I'm trading my RRS for a RR AB. The dealer here has actually contacted me several times since my last visit about a month ago in regard to wanting to buy my RRS, but,,,,,,,,,,,, notta gonna happen rite now!..
