For the setup of the air suspension, its very easy. The first screen you come to in the Service Functions has a Suspension Calibration link right there. The instructions and procedure is step by step, like 'Be sure key is in ignition, turn to ON (position II). Remove Key. Insert key. Enter vehicle height driver front...etc.

Sorry Robert, just now saw your post. I dropped mine 15mm, but just on the front. I didn't want any lowering on the rear, but if I did, it would only be about 5 mm. My setup was pretty much dead-on the OEM set heights...no doubt from the dealer suspension load test that was preformed prior to my purchasing the car.

I am waiting on getting my xk8 back from the transmission shop before I ship out the mongoose and SDD over to you. Might be wednesday. There is a chance we'll need it to clear adaptations or something, as he says its been reinstalled, but not quite shifting correctly.

 

Cool no rush take what ever time you need, you are doing me the favor. Hope the XK is fine.

 

Sorry for the SDD/cable shipping delay Robert, xk8 tranny is almost done (Monday), and the shop needs to clear the adeptations. then I need to use it on my XJ's phone module to turn up the dang volume (hopefully). After that, should be all yours for a week or so.

 

No problem hope all goes well with the adjustments.

 

So tried to run H20boys SDD onto my Vista equipped laptop and after a week have given up trying to get it to work. Lowering will have to wait for an alternative method. Thanks to H20 for the loan of the programme wish I was better at using a PC as am a MAC man myself. Must say that I love my XJR but am getting very frustrated as wanted to do more stuff myself but seems that everything on Ronnie is way more complicated than other cars. Perhaps should of bought the Mustang GT after all!

 

i live in Saudi Arabia and i wish i can utilize this tool to drop my 05 XJR,, let me know if i had a chance,,

if i dropped the car 15mm in front,, can i eliminate the speed mode dropping it even lower?
