Intake Manifold Removal

Intake Manifold Removal
The pictured intake manifold has a large hose clamp on the elbow end and a pin that fits through a soft gasket on the front end.
It would seem that to remove the manifold, you would pry the manifold off on the elbow end & slide the manifold forward to release the manifold completely. However, After loosening the hose clamp, I tried to pry it off at the back & it didn't seem to want to budge. I'm reluctant to use too mach force.
Does anyone know hoew to remove this? Exactly how is the manifold attached?
Thanks & best,
Steve S.
