Good as long as there is no bleed-over from other stations. There are alot of stations here in Hawaii, so sometimes I get some bleed-over.

 

well i have some news. at work today i submitted a quote through the
parts department for an audio connectivity module. turns out it has been
superceded and no longer works with the xj. looks like ill be looking into an
fm transmitor for sure

 

Hi check out this site, rediscoveradio.com they have a FM module that connects thru your antenna cable that filters out the bleed thru that you get from FM modulators. I've been speaking with a tech that works there and he says that they have not experienced any bleed thru in testing. If I keep my '04 XJ8 and can find antenna adaptors that will fit the XJ8 radio I'm going with them. I now use a FM modulator and I'm constantly getting bleed thru. Let us know what you think.
