Vague post with useless thread title gets vague response:

Well, my response, anyway, for what it's worth... The XF is a different generation car, and the engine is a different engine. Will it even sit in the same mounts? I'd be astonished if the XJ's wiring harness even came close to accommodating it, much less the control computers.
