Default After 16 years still catching eyes!

I own a 2005 XJ8L, I bought it back in 2016 with 126,000 and now with 177,090 the car is still strong, most of theses miles were due to a 50 round trips to my job during 4 years.

Has been my first car even and even without any experience about any kind of vehicle, not taking all the required care because my inexperience and even throw all that the car has been amazing.

During the last 2 years that I have been able to learn how to fix it, how to keep it in good shape by myself I love it and appreciate th car more than ever.

Just amazes me how after 16 years, so many people still make me questions about the car and how much they like it. Except for the Miles, I can say that th car is way better than it was when I bought it, I'm on top of it all the time with the maintenance or any issues that could happen.

I' recently replaced all the interior with a pristine XJR 2007 that I found at the local junk yard, I was lucky to be the first one to get there so I pulled out the seats with the picnic table, the leather was just like new!

In general I'm still in love of this car and is good to know that most of you feel the same about yours 🥰

Way to go. As long as the sheet metal holds up the mechanicals can be worked on.
