Default Jaguar Window Sticker Reprint Help

Hi all: I have come up with a way to reprint the Monroney sticker for these Jags. It looks very much like an original one. Here is an example of one. My question is how much do you think people would pay for this? It takes me about 6 to 10 hours to do, but I think it really comes out well.

Default Looks great¡

Is that a true recreation of the original, or is there some "artistic license" involved? Didn't realize that "The Art of Performance" was used in the X350 years. I would be interested but with that much of your time, I'm not sure it would be worth a large enough sum to be worth your time. Really nice work, either way.

According to this tgread, Jaguar would reprint them at one time for $30 if you were persistent enough. Cant see that being fair for literally hours of your time. Then again, if its a labor of love, whos to say, lol?

Or you sell a lot of them, basic design of the form should be the same.

Ok it is a recreation of and original 2004 XJR. From all my research, from 2003 to 2007, or 2006. This is the type of window sticker that Jaguars had for those years. As I get better st I have been able to cut my time down, because as Wingrider said the design is the same. I have tried many Jaguar dealers, and the deal from where my Jag came from, and none would do a reprint of the Monroney sticker. They will print out a generic list of what your car had, but they do not keep it for many years. Jaguar USA, and UK do not reprint either from what i have been able to find out.
I was just wondering how much you all would think be a good number to remake a window sticker? Note most will not look like a new one, but a good remake with some weathered areas. It does depend on the condition of the sticker I have.
Once I get good at it, I think my time will be just a couple of hours. I also will get 2 laminated, so the person can have one for home, and the other to take to shows, plus it will last a lot longer. What do you all think.

Basically I love it. I really would like to have that extra little something in my documentation pack, recreation or not. But I have to be honest, I am not comfortable throwing a number out there... Here's a thought: If Jaguar USED to provide them for $30, but no longer provides the service, it falls to reason that they are worth some type of premium above and beyond that. I just couldn't say what that should be, since I dont a)want to be insulting and b) want one for myself, but cheap, obviously, because I knew you way back when during the prototype stage, lol.

Red face

Did keep the window stickers of the two new Honda's, the only new cars that were ever purchased. Used cars from their owners, seemed to be the best buys for me, when i have time to look for them. As they have already taken their depreciation hit, & usually need to be repaired. It would be nice to have the window stickers for the two Jags, even if they were used, when they were purchased. But being the frugal individual that i am, (CHEAP, S O B) probably would not pay enough for them, to make it worth your while.

I want to thank you all for your input on this. Since this is something that I came up on my own, and right now I am still working on getting good at it. Wingider, and Blairware: Since you 2 are the ones who have shown the most interest in getting one. Please private message me, and I would like to work on one for each of you.

I'm still none the wiser as to what these stickers are, anyone?

"4 WHEEL ANTI LOCK VENTED DICS" ???

I admit I'm intrigued to know what these are/were. Dealer windows? Car windows? Where & when?

Can you simulate a traffic ticket? So the cops think it's already done.

No on the traffic tickets, I am working on recreating as close to the original window sticker that the car came with. You see a lot of the american car companies will let you get a close, or even a real recreation of the window sticker. For some reason Jaguar does not do that. So that i why I am truing to do it. I am working with a Jaguar forum member right now, and I hope it goes well, and he will let us know what he thinks when I am done.

You really still didn't explain anything about these window stickers, history etc etc. (I've never seen one before)

Maybe a course in sales technique is as important as the stickers, if you want to sell them?

Cheers, I'm out.

Chris the Monrony window documents are required on all new cars sold in the US. They must include certain information. If memory serves me they were named after the lawmaker that pushed the bill.

This is something I'd be interested in if it was accurate based on my VIN and looked better overall. The fold marks gotta go, for example. Perhaps you should hire someone to re-do the entire thing from scratch in a vector format or something and then edit that to sell? Plus I'm in Canada not the US so my window sticker would be different.

I get what you are saying, but the fold marks and other wear on it makes it look older, and I think gives a more realistic look. This is a remake, and not to be brand new,

Thanks to those who who gave an explanation. (it only applies to USA/perhaps Canada)
It seems there is already a reprint service:
https://monroneylabels.com/

For Jaguar, it says the options need to be obtained by inspection of the vehicle.
I've still no idea why anyone would want a reprint. Cheers

Monroneylabels.com is a reprints of all the information of the window sticker, and it is great, but it is not what the window sticker would have looked like. I go to a lot of car shows, and it is very cool item to show the car, and is a great talk item. A lot of car show people would love to have on, because it completes the car. Even though it is not the original I try to make it look close. That is why fold marks, and other imperfections will make it look more authentic.

Something else stored in the records, have a notebook, or envelope, for each bike as well as car.
Amount paid, receipt's for all parts, mileage, as well as when installed.
Stuff any new owner would like to have, when purchasing any used vehicle.

Ah, now I get it. It's a compulsory tech sheet that is a legal requirement in the US.

No such socialist paperwork over here.
