Jaguar x350 Air Compressor Help
Hello all i was wondering if anyone can give me some advise ive had an issue with my air suspension recently and im trying to diognose the issue i think i may have a leak in the front/issue with sensor or an issues with the compressor as my car doesnt seem to want to rise but it isnt giving me any height errors however im on 19 inch tires so its still quite away off the ground i was wondering if there is anyway i can force the compressor to power up so i can rule out the compressor and maybe try to search for the leak. ive heard something about running a cable between pin 3 and 5 but i was wondering if anyone could verify this or not also i was looking at getting jaguar sdd to try and diognose issues like this would this be able to run the compressor also thanks

Yes if your serious about keeping the air suspension you should plan on setting up a working SDD system.
Yes you can do many things with the air suspension using SDD BUT it will take you a while to get use to how it works.
Have you had the car long? Are you aware of the long history of troubles with the air suspension?
Are you aware of the coil spring conversion kit?
How much do you know about the air suspension and it's most common problems?

If you unplug you batterie for about a day so cats is not able to level the car every 30 min you willdefenetly find out you have a leak . That could be on the valves or the tube/hoses
or the Airstrut.
you also can use soapwater spray on the valves ontop of each Airstrut where the nylon hoses go in as well on the tank in the boot underneath spare wheel
the compressour is mounted in front of the front left tire behind the wheelwell .
After pluging you batterie back in and starting the car the compressor will instantly start to fill the tank and then the airstruts to normal level wich is about 385 millimeter in the front and 375 millimeter in the back.
if the car is to low it should give you that info on the dashboard. (Can happens after jacking for tire exchange)
That's when you could drive with about 25mp/h 40km/h for the compressor to start once more and the car getting a rise.
Do not drive if the front fender hides top of the front tires
or the Airstrut.

CATS only deals with the firmness/softness of the oil-filled dampers, not the Air Suspension.

Agree with Petz; however, I believe (I'm pretty sure) the same thing could be achieved by removing fuses F12 & F52 from the rear fuse box beside the battery, without disconnecting your battery and accordingly, without the need to reset your windows, throttle body, radio code, transmission settings, LTFT's etc, etc?
