Jaguar XJR x350 2004 oil round air duct.
It's a new car to me so 85k been looking round tidying like I do.
I had it inspected by a Jaguar engineer from the JEC.
He pointed up a few items but generally give the car a clean bill of health, and yes it runs fine.
I have taken the plastic cover on top of the engine off (Marked Supercharger on each side) , primarily to give the top of the alloy air duct a cleanup.
There is some oil round the front up and onto where the duct connects to the front banks of inlet tracks.
It's mixed with dirt and there is not really any fresh oil so can't be gushing out.
So is this normal, need I get concerned, do I need to do anything, or do I just leave it.
Regards
Bill
