Last year my LH side repeater lamp started to fail by filling up with dirt and crud. The lense was coming off the back plate, so I carefully glued it back using Araldite. However, I think I used the wrong glue, because two days ago the lens had disappeared somewhere on a run, so it was time to buy another one.

A search of the internet revealed virtually none of these at a reasonable price, one was a US supplier, but the postage was eyewatering. I finally used a UK internet supplier that has plenty of Jaguar stuff at reasonable prices, but in this case, the price was an eye-watering £67 !! With our 20% VAT tax and postage the final price was £89.72 ($140) !!!!

I don't know about everybody else, but I find this astonishing for such a simple assembly. I suppose the reason is, it is specific to the X350, so was never made in any quantity.

Did you check with EuroJag, Excite motors, Black Country Jaguar etc on S/H prices? You're bang on with the assessment that Jaguar parts are expensive, was the lens new?

Fraser,
I lost the same light I think at the car wash but did not recover it. After alot of checking and making calls I ended up paying $140.00 at a dealer. I could not believe that little light costs so much. The one in the bumper is over twice the size and curved is only $23.00......what gives?
