I'd say 40mm if you want it even. Mine are 42mm with an 8.5 inch wide wheel and it still has a bit of room to come out farther.

I would think so, any more than that may be pushing it.

In comparison the stock Lincoln LS were a 60mm offset and taking it out to 40mm are perfectly at the fender. The 60mm offsets really looked sunken in on that car.
