I noticed that my leaper was cockeyed, so I went to straighten it up and the leaper snapped right off. It appears the steel cables had corroded, become brittle, and snapped.

I have a 2005 Super V8. Any ideas where I can get a replacement? Is this an easy job to fix? Thanks,

Great, thank you. While obvious, it never occurred to me to check eBay. Most of the parts places I have ordered parts from previously did not carry this part.

 

If you are feeling risky simply put the shipping screws back in and drive on--
