Default Loose Wiring Connectors in Boot (Trunk)

Dear Forum,

In connection with my post regarding CATS System Fault, I was trying to see how to disconnect the CATS module (black box, left side of boot near bumper, I think)? Please anyone have any idea how this plug disconnects?

While in there, I found the following loose connectors:

Do you mean the Air Suspension Module or ASM? I think that is on your (US) passenger side, behind the seat back, not actually in the boot.

Hello Cornershop and thank you for your reply.
I am obviously getting confused. I read (somewhere) that there is a module that controls the CATS System, i.e. the actual Damper settings and that it was situated on the left hand side (Driver's side on LHD vehicle) in the boot, on the inner wing, immediately in front of the rear bumper. I do have a black box there, with a connector that I am unsure how to disconnect?
Please let me know if I am still not making any sense and I will go down and take a pic of the black box...….

You may be right - I am a novice of 7 months ownership.

I know the ASM is behind the rear seat back.

You also have the reservoir and valve block under the spare wheel.

I couldn't precisely see what the white connector was, but I am wondering if its the one I have. In both cars it and at a white plug, AND there is a plastic hole in the fuse box surround that it snaps into. Not "connects" into, but just snaps in. Its and empty hole with no connection in it. You can see it in this pic. I circled it. In the old car it was in there. New one it was just flopping around so... I clipped it in. To the non-connection connection. Much better now, lol.

Thanks Cornershop. The box I was looking at was the Parking Assist!
My problem is with my CATS System. My Air Suspension is okay. I don't know from where the CATS System is controlled. Probably a straight link from the ECU to the shocks, utilising all the other necessary sensors available to the ECU? I will continue to try and find a solution via my 'Air Spring Supply Circuit Fault' post situated at: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...8/#post2103261

I now realise that post would be better titled 'Damper Supply Circuit Fault'!

I will continue to try to find out what my loose connectors are with this post...…..

Do not worry about anything in the boot.

The solenoid on the top of the strut is connected to the air suspension module.
