Default Mina Gallery order delay??

Hello all,

I placed an order with Mina over a week ago and the order status still shows awaiting shipment.

I'm wondering if the exhaust is made to order, hence the delayed shipping.

Does anyone know if their exhaust system is made to order and not an item that is usually in stock?

I emailed them requesting a tracking number but I have not heard from them.

I guess I'm just getting a little impatient. I want all the goodies installed already!!!!

Happy Sunday!

Yep! You are right. I received a tracking number from them today for items delivered yesterday.

I'm still pending the rest of the order but at least I received the most important parts. The exhaust system is a thing of beauty.

Apparently, Mina works the old fashion way! You know, those days back in the 1940s when there were no tracking numbers or email.

I placed my order on April 29th and I kept asking for the tracking number so I could leave the front gate open for the delivery guy to place them inside the gated area.

I received the mufflers early this week. A day before I got the tracking number. lol

Now I am still pending the rest of the order and their site still shows awaiting shippment. I have emailed them for an update but they never reply.

So frustrating!

I never received a tracking number from them when I ordered their induction pipe. The little bundle of goodness just arrived on the door step.

Are you going to post video of the new Mina exhaust when it's done?

I'm looking at replacing my rears with Magnaflows.

You are going to replace the stock mufflers with Magnaflow, right?

I like the look of the Mina mufflers but wish they were louder.

I took video but for some reason the audio was a little glitchy.

Yeah, I've gone with 200cell cats, X-pipe, both resonators deleted. I'm looking at the Magnaflow bullet mufflers for the rear, the exhaust guy that did the cats, X-pipe & delete said to go with 5" rounds, ovals are quieter.

The image is the original 600cell Jag cats, these are what's keeping your cat quiet.

After having the split in the Xpipe welded up, it's now shifting and sounding better. I had someone stop me in the work car park today to complement the sound coming out of my cat's throat. They said it doesn't sound like a usual Jaguar and wanted to know which big *** engine I put in it.

Perhaps today is the day that I receive the rest of my order from Mina. No tracking number yet, but they said it's in the mail. I wish they put little wings and tiny engines on the snails bringing my goodies. They would be much faster.

Talk about snail mail!

Ok, had the Magnaflow 4" bullets installed, unfortunately they are way too loud and boomy, they also produced a massive low drone that vibrates the car and my ear drums they do sound great at WOT. I would need a set of ear muffs just to drive. The one advantage is cars behind back off your tail and stay way back, they can't take the shock wave. The car does have better acceleration and power, the power seems to come on earlier too.

I spoke with Magnaflow and they are recommending 4x9x14" ovals with resonators or just 4x9x18" ovals, I might try the 5x8x14" and if it's too loud or droney I can use the bullets as resonators, which is what they are generally used for.

Sorry your setup didn't work out for you. Have you dialed the sound in yet?

My cat has its mojo back

This morning I had the droney Magnaflow 4" bullets/magnapacks removed and the rear 2" exhaust pipe from the mufflers to the mid pipes removed too, don't know why Jaguar neck the exhaust down to 2" pipes at the rear .

The shop installed 2-1/4" pipes at the rear, so now I have 2-1/4" all the way to the mufflers, they installed my new Magnaflow 5x8x14 oval (2-1/2" in/out) mufflers.

So, now my cat has more *****, no drone, no rasp (just a slight crackle in a good way), sounds quieter when driving normally and sounds huge when mashing the accelerator.

The exhaust sounds purrrfect now!!!

Ok, I'll need to give it some miles to break-in the mufflers first.

Had to take my cat into Jaguar for suspension diagnosis, they commented on how good the exhaust sounds and ask where I had it done.
