I have made it up to the car I suppose.

$290 rear shock from Motorsport.com in Houston. Fitted it between 7 and 8 AM this morning. It is such an easy job to do. My oh my though, my bushings really are all shot back there and if I wasn't seriously considering moving up to a 2007/2010 XK I might seriously consider getting more of the bushings replaced. Getting 200K miles on this Jag though has also been one of my goals. We shall see what happens.

I have washed it twice since returning as well so she looks all clean and shiny outside and cleaned and vacummed the inside.

All in all she done a great job, but.... In the back of my mind I have this feeling of massive large component failure soon and mega bucks to repair.

Your point on the photo's of the car in various locations is a very valid one. I do it all the time on my motorbike but never really think to do it with the car.
