Default Motorcraft control arm

After an exhaustive search on here and not getting complete clarity ...

Can someone confirm that the Motorcraft MCSOE39 and 38 control arms fit the upper fronts on the X350/X358?

Also, does anyone know of a link to interchangeable suspension parts between the X350/X358 and the lincoln ls?

There are a bunch of threads but they seem to all go dead before any conclusive answers are shared.

Yes, the motorcraft front upper A arms as used on Lincoln and Thunderbirds fit and do not affect alignability.

would be great to see actual measurements, say by getting a pair of these Motorcraft ones, slipping the correct size conduit through the inboard bushings, with a stock x350 front upper arm in between, and then carefully measure out to the ball joint centers.

I had one European E-bay seller, who had a pile of front Jaguar OEM uppers he was selling, explain to me that S-type and x350/x358 were different. He may still have new passenger side front uppers for sale, but would not sell me any upper front left S-type ones for our x350.

Also a Jag dealer I conferred with said that the upper front control arms were different between S-type and x350.

Bought a set from Rock Auto, for about $60 each side for the Lincoln LS, believe they were the same year as the 04 XJ8's.Learned about the here, but have yet to install them. Will need to do that, & check the alignment before the new tires go on.

I noticed that the ones on Amazon are actually branded Jaguar in the photos, and a reviewer noted that they were Jaguar parts made in UK.

They are wrong, the forum is right. The parts are interchangeable. S-Type, XJ (x350), Lincoln LS, Thunderbird - match year to year and you are fine to interchange. Many on this forum have done it, including me, no one has indicated issues.

I can't speak to the x358 however.

Some sites also indicate they cross reference to the X150. Any idea if that is truly the case?

Hey Jahummer. I replied to your question in the X150 forum.
