Default Multiple Cylinder Misfire Codes

I recently had my 2008 XJ8 tuned up by a mobile mechanic (new spark plugs, coils, manifold gaskets, egr valve gasket, throttle body, map sensor). The car does not immediately start when I turn the key and when it does start, there is a bit of a shake. The check engine light was on but is now off. I received the following codes today when I took the car to Auto Zone:
P0301
P0302
P0303
P0304
P0305
P0306
P0307
P0308
P0300
P0316
P0506
P0175
P0113

Any suggestions on what the issue may be is appreciated.

Thanks,

Peter

I would suggest you get the mobile mechanic back if this all started after he did the work. Sounds like he's not done a very good job. Or did you get him out because the car already had these problems? Thanks

Plus 1 on the above post. It appears as though you had quite a few parts replaced. Did you supply the parts and/or do you know the brand of the items replaced. I would expect a mobile mechanic to have checked for codes after completing the work..

Well, they could be but typically are not. See Jaguar documentation - free download.

Also, Search will find what most people found for them.

@petalidi, there are two issues with having all those misfire codes:
  • There is an interruption in the fuel supply, or a massive amount of unmetered air is entering the inlet manifold
  • If the misfires continue, one or both catalysts will be damaged and need to be replaced
Check the wiring loom to the fuel injectors to make sure they're all plugged in and then use the Torque app with a Bluetooth interface via the OBD port to read the LTFTs and STFTs. The fuel trims will indicate if the engine is running lean or not.
