I'm getting 13 psi of boost with Joel's intake (installed this week), normally I would see peak boost of 11/12 psi. I am running the smaller pulley that required machining the supercharger snout. Colder evening temps might help but there's definitely a lot more volume to these pipes than what was stock.

For a semi experienced knuckle buster what is complete install time range? Will flush supercharger oil while intake is off.

No worries! I have sales coming up where prices will be discounted. Usually I use the codes around those sales. I’ve tried to keep it as cost effective as possible while using the highest quality materials I can.
Install time varies, if you’re familiar with removing your stock upper plenum and intake piping, it shouldn’t take more than 15-30 minutes.
The sounds is so good 😁 With an open element filter you can hear the low rpm whine driving around town. At wot it’s more than apparent both inside and outside of the car.
What are the bugs you used in the silicone. I could use something like that on one of my other vehicles. Already did intakes on all but one of my jaguars which will rmain completely stock!

So how much HP do you think I lost because I used a 3" intake instead of a 3.5 inch intake? Kinda like a 2 lane highway going down a to a two lane.
Take into consideraion that the J pipe is restrictive no matter what as well as the intake on the Eaton super charger. Which I ported for smooth flow between the two.

No doubt a set up like this helps a bit, but opening up the j tube and upper intake wont be a ton of help considering you are faced with other restrictions before and after these intake sections i.e. 78mm (3”) throttlebody and plenum, 78mm MAF housing before the j pipe, 90* bend in the plenum back to supercharger, and then the heaton itself.
Don’t get me started on the exhaust and catalytic converters…

I wouldn’t necessarily say you lost on anything. We did the intitial dyno testing with a 3” J pipe and realized the gains of 20hp/18tq in the mid range and 12hp/10tq at peak rpm.
The 3.5” J-Pipe would maybe account for an extra 3-10hp I’m guessing.
The larger J-pipe was utilized with a smaller pulley in mind. With a smaller pulley and other bolt ons you should see some nice results.
I did this years ago and modified a rudimentary design that some else did. I replaced the plenum with the RR one that some one else suggested.
The plenum was extra cost of course.
I’m assuming he means the cast aluminum plenum by “upper”.
the RR plenum is still inferior to this design. On a vehicle with a smaller pulley, 3” J pipe, exhaust work, etc… The RR has only seen 14hp in the mid range with zero gains at peak rpm. Our plenum design made 20hp in the mid range and 12hp at peak rpm with an increase across the entire powerband.
