No doubt a set up like this helps a bit, but opening up the j tube and upper intake wont be a ton of help considering you are faced with other restrictions before and after these intake sections i.e. 78mm (3”) throttlebody and plenum, 78mm MAF housing before the j pipe, 90* bend in the plenum back to supercharger, and then the heaton itself.

Don’t get me started on the exhaust and catalytic converters…

It’s a good, cost effective mod though. I am sure that when coupled with a few other things it will give nice results.
