Lol, yes of course.

Tell her you have access to an online Tech site, full of useful info for cheaper parts, servicing tips n tricks, pictorial & video links to TSB's & HOW TO's for just about anything you'll ever need 24/7

Good luck

Hi Jim, i don't know if she'll fall for that one...hahahaha It's worth a shot.

So i think these cars have the ZF transmission? or something like this? who makes it? are they pretty good? bulletproof? or flimsy?
thanks

Of course a Jag is for you! Buy some snow tires and you're golden. I go to Montreal all the time and Jaguar is fine all season long. Perhaps I would not drive it while it is snowing hard, but other than that, it's fine.

Jag does a great job with HVAC, weather-stripping, and lights. Starts up every time and has more than enough room. Actually I sold my VDP because it was too big.

Moses, ay thanks, this sounds promising
From pics, it seems to have a nice rooms trunk. I know it ain't no wagon, but....
Oddly enough i actually prefer RWD in winter than FWD, more predictable and can regain control easier...with FWD, i find that if you're sliding, you can floor it and turn the steering wheel all you want but you're still gonna go straight.
how do these cars handle in cold weather? start up all the time in -30 cel???
The saabs are made for this cold weather, no issues on this front.

I'm 32 with 2 kids 12 and 8 and drive a 2004 XJ8. My vehicle before this was a 1999 Jeep Wrangler. So, it is a much more family friendly car to drive. The only issue is constantly having to constantly bird-dog where my kids are resting their feet or which buttons they are playing with.

I'm wondering what you think....would this car be a good choice for a dad with 2 little kids? is it practical? I like the look of the car and the big v8 rwd of it...
i t would be my daily driver..including lots of snow in winter time, and winter tires would be a must.
thanks
