Haha sorry all, bad form not posting a pic of it. Drove five hours today, have to say I am in love with my Jag, I've had Mercs, BMW, Audi, but this is something else!

It's dark out now but tomorrow I might be working from home in which case I shall get a good clean and post some pictures for you all of more than just the minidisc player!!!

Only negative bits so far:

Glove box door cover hanging forward, not plush, seen posts on using a good glue to fix properly again, will get on it.

Drivers inside door handle although fixed to the extent it works, the spring is broken so it's not right, only seem to see ones with the memory seat buttons and mine is not a memory seat model

When going around constant 40mph constantly switches between gears, not too noticeable but it should choose one or the other!!

Sport switch is far too addictive...

If I am working from home tomorrow I might try to get it all done then. If I don't have memory seats, is the drivers door handle the same as the rear one? I only seem to find either with the memory buttons or rear. Memory would be lovely but I saw no wiring to facilitate it so I'm guessing it's a factory or no option! Blimey, I ask for the earth!

Wow. Very nice. You are so lucky. I am looking for something similar. I love the silver, but would prefer a darker interior colour. Don't you just love how elegant she looks just sitting there, ready?
Good for you. BTW, aren't you heartend by how kind and helpful folks are on this forum?

I wish you many, many miles of pleasurable driving in your beautiful Jaguar. Can't wait to have one of my own.

I'm hoping after a few months of working with my beauty I'll be able to help as much as they do, great people on this forum!! Amazing car, puts a smile on my face just walking onto my drive

Have to admit I am tempted by these FULL LEATHER INTERIOR SEATS JAGUAR X350 XJ6 XJ8 2003-2008 WITH TV KIT | eBay to add heated seats, screens in the back and contrast black seats with cream doors and dash!! Might be getting ahead of myself though...

That would look brilliant. I think...
If the seats were piped in cream. Now we're on to something. And you'd have a complete set of cards and veneers to save or sell.
Could be really nice.

Reminds me of the old X350 I used to own, It was Platinum with Dove Grey interior and the same 17" wheels. My headlights were quite yellowed, but wetsanding & polish made them like new again.

The Sovereign interior would be a big upgrade. The soft-grain Napa leather used is so much nicer to the touch than the standard. You could dye the piping to light grey, but a major job. Also, you would need to change the Telematics loom to get your NAV & TVs to work, a job that took me 2 days to do, but won't really matter if you are completely stripping out the interior.

Make sure that EuroJags send you all the Multimedia wiring and modules, otherwise, it won't work.

Personally, I would change the door cards and facia (if possible), as the door tops on Dove interiors are Granite not Warm Charcoal (black), so would not match.

Brilliant advise, thank you! So I'm not nuts, it is worth considering

Looks very clean! I believe your car is the same color silver as mine(love that color silver). I saved a few of your pics, as you don't usually see x350's in the US without the hood ornament, and I don't believe the x350 XJ6 was ever an option here.

Quick question (and please excuse my ignorance), but what is the RAC badge in the grill?

Yeah, great colour I thought, was originally looking for black or British racing green, but this took my fancy!

The Wiki article will give you more information, it came with the RAC badge but I am actually a member as well, oldest breakdown service here I believe. They've saved me with the MG and the motorbike!!
