Hi Guys..
I have a 2003 xj6 x350 that i bought approx 5 months ago..
the rear parking sensors didn't work but the front ones did so as i am a 72.5 yr old fart and can't bend enough to remove rear bumper
i even bought a stethoscope and tested the sensors i found only one clicking.

so i just bought a cheapie set of stick on ones.

Lo and behold yesterday got in car and found the factory fitted set has started to work.
i now have two sets of rear sensors all working.
I knew they were great cars but didn't know they came with self healing
parts , this is the third thing that's done this the other 2 were rear CD changer and self folding mirrors.
regards .
John...

Don't be that surprised, on my X350 the passenger's self folding mirror and the driver's door lock also myserously self-healed!

I would be interested in hearing more about the CD changers that self healed. I got two of them with identical, non-working symptoms (CDC Error)

John,

Perhaps it's divine intervention. Have you been driving past the Angel of the North?
