Default mystery plastic bracket

I was checking behind the left boot side panel to see if there were any add-ons there for the Sirius radio the PO had installed. I didn't find anything that looked non-OEM but did find a plastic bracket that I couldn't figure out where to re-install. Anyone know what this is and where it goes?

Guess I'll have to dig into the dash now to try to find why my OEM radio has such poor reception.

Looking at the triangular part could it be one of the clips securing the rear seat

(at the base)?

It was down in the left rear corner of the boot behind the side panel so I figured it must have something to do with that panel, but I've also found some strange things have been done to the car so perhaps. It definitely has an L on it so there must be something similar for the right side and I didn't find a similar clip behind the right boot side panel when I was removing the tail light assembly to get at the RR parking assist sensor.

Mine had the exact same item in the boot spare wheel well when I got it. Never worked out what it was for, I ended up suspecting it was a shipping bracket and the dealer just hadn't taken it out -just a guess.
