Default Nav System Issue

Hello Everyone,

Anyone run into this issue? Turned on my car, pressed Nav and agreed to terms. Then got the below error. “The disk installed is not a map DVD“ Please help....

Yes once in a while.

Cleaning the player with a DVD cleaner disk solves the problem for me but that is a pain.

The optics may well be going in mine.

Sometimes just ejecting and replacing the DVD will resolve it. One time I bumped the eject button (I think, it was a couple years ago) and the disk was sitting in the unit half ejected. Try ejecting and examine the disk as well, but running a CD/DVD cleaner disk is not likely to do any harm either.
