I want to replace my NAV with a new Pioneer 2Din Carplay-enabled unit to work with my iPhone.
So I see that you've never installed the climate control unit you bought with the wires cut off? How are you controlling temperature and such? You mention in the Dash? That does seem very inconvenient.
@veffremov - I know you have lots of experience with this unit; my nav system is touchscreen and I'm considering this Carplay possibility —*I know you've designed an alternative solution for iPHone/BT integration and I am on your waiting list as this is also a consideration. But I'm hoping to install the Pioneer.
Will this be fairly easy once I figured out the climate control?

I told in previous posts that I am controlling temp and so on from my gloves compartment for now
It sounds crazy, yes.
I still didn't installed separate climate control unit I bought, cause I haven't received (found) exact answer of what I need for that.
As I understood - I need to replace control module which is under the dash.
