Hey Guys,
I'm in the middle of ordering up everything that I need to install the factory navigation system in my 2004 XJ. I currently am looking for a link lead and came across this one http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jagua...ht_2276wt_1014 My car is equipped with premium sound and the 6 Disc changer so i'm not sure if this would work with the navigation system. My question is, does the amp from the premium sound connect into the D2B network or does it go through something else.
I appreciate any help you guys can give me with this
Thanks,
Mat

Yes the amp is connected via the D2B link. You need a cable that loops all devices. The D2B leads are easy to unclip from the housing of the connectors, so you can extent your existing cable with the one you have from eBay. Just make sure to connect one "in" to the next "out" so the signal can flow in a ring pattern around all the devices in the loop.

Thank you veffremov,
I actually took apart my trunk and started poking around and found an extra connector that was looped off and labeled Rear ICE. I was told that its for the rear entertainment system which my car does not have so I guess I really lucked out and don't need to purchase any other connectors! I think that I have found the dvd player for the trunk although im not sure if its for the current navigation system or the previous generation navigation system. The seller said that its for a 2004 and up XJ and gave me the numbers off the back but im still not sure about it. The numbers on the back were "2W9310E997CE" and "462100-8217" could anyone tell me if this is for the 2004 and up XJ?
Thanks in advance!
