Bought a oem key fob with previous vehicle key still in.
I have 2 working keys...( one fob, one valet)

Can I use the old previous car key in the used oem fob to work in my car?
Or..do I need to go to dealer to get a vin specific key cut for the fob.

Then I suppose I could program fob and key myself correct?

The Fob you should be able to program to your vehicle (if its any good). They key(s) are cut to specific vehicles. So, you can trash it. The fob can be programmed using the flashers but not the key.

Thanks Chris. Thought that would be the case..Gob looks fine.. Real deal..not China..
With key from orig. so, will have new key cut at dealer, put in fob and program fob or have them do it. Thanks
