Default Need help finding the correct front door inner seal part number

Hi All,

I need help finding the correct PN for these seals. Both front door driver and passenger. Is it interior trim color dependent? My trim code is "JMN". Appreciate the help!

You don't need to spend money on a new part.

I inserted a piece of black foam into the damaged area

and swapped it with the passenger side.

The damaged area ends up down by the footwell on the passenger side

where you never notice it and the the joins still under the kick plates on both sides.

On the driver's side you have a 'new' rubber seal.

Just noticed that you have damage on both sides!

I recently saw a YouTube clip on a series called ToTheGarage,
and the same issue was addressed by removing the seal and refitting it so that the damaged portion was covered by the kick plate. That was also disguised by some tape, but you could insert some foam as mentioned above. I think the join ended up at the level of the dashboard, and was almost unnoticeable.

1/2" to 3/4" foam backer rod and black liquid tape works well.

Edit: I wonder if this could be it: https://en.autoricambiservice.com/ex...on-2007_265152
And in case anyone needs the part, please? (Like when the damage is too much to be hidden underneath the kick plate?)

Good suggestions on moving the seals! I had not thought about that either.
The one you posted is used so expect the same damage as what yours currently has.

Yes those seals have different color trim depending on your interior colors.
It is also dependent on your VIN?

As you can see in the picture make sure you get the correct seal as it looks like there are 3 seals on the door and another 3 seals on the car body.

If you still want new ones they depend on VIN and interior color. If you can post those details?
I have always put new ones in as it's common to wear the fuzzy stuff off as you slide in and out of the drivers seat. Also there can be very large holes in the rubber seal as it's hollow inside.

I have looked at the part, and it is for the rear passenger door, not for the front one. Unfortunately they put this detail only in the Italian description, not the English one.

Best regards,

Thomas

https://parts.jaguarlandroverclassic...03-2009-parts/

That link is to the official classic jaguar web page and is great for finding part numbers. There are 3 colours for the door seals but they are all NLA!
