Need help identifying part missing (pic attached)
Hey everyone,
We almost have the supercharger put back together but feel like we are missing a piece that connects to this part which comes off the throttle body elbow. The question is where does the L shaped metal bar that comes out of the bottom of this part go? Is there some sort of plate that we are missing? Anyone have a picture of this part with the plate or am I missing something? The guy that took this apart maybe dropped the metal plate which I assume this part needs to attach to the throttle body properly?
Thanks a lot guys

Look at this pic I already posted in your previous thread.
Look at the butterfly housing and on the lhs you can see see a bolt head.
I put the bolt back in its hole so as not to lose it after I took the actuator off.
The metal rod end on the actuator fits in a slot on a metal tab the top of which can be seen on the left side of the butterfly housing. That tab moves the butterfly valve.

Thanks so much for posting the pics. Sorry I didn't see that picture from the last thread you shared.
So I've drawn a circle around the part that we are missing. Would you happen to know what this bracket would be called and if it can be ordered separately? If you don't know and I were to call the Jaguar parts dept. on Monday how would I describe this part? Bracket that is secured to the throttle body elbow which holds the bypass valve actuator in place? That is it's only function right?
Many thanks again

I do not know what it is called.
It is attached directly to the spindle that supports the actual butterfly in the supercharger bypass valve opening. That is its only function to move the butterfly valve.
I have taken my supercharger off several times within a few months and that part you are missing always stayed attached to the elbow.
Have a look at this Ebay item# 131468674361
IF it is the correct elbow etc I suggest you make a low ball offer around $45. This may be the only way to get that lever.
