I ordered the Akebono pads from Rock Auto and they work really well. Not much dust at all like a Japanese car. Most likely you'll have to replace the rotors; they do not grind well if at all.
I'd go with OEM rotors. Rock Auto had the wrong size and price difference between OEM and other brands was very little.
My independent Jag repair place only like to use OEM pad/rotors as they say they usually run into chattering, squeaks, etc... and was suprised the Akebono's did not have issues.
