New battery or....
Hey. While moving my car this morning from the driveway to park on the road I noticed the steering had little assist as if the hydraulics weren't working, and I didn't have time to check the PS fluid level. After a couple of hours I went to move it and it was dead. I hadn't driven it since Sunday when it worked fine and there have been no recent battery issues. Is this more likely the alternator than battery?

Crickets….
replacing the battery and on the back wall lof the trunk there is a large amperage 3 fuse box. The one connection must have been a little loose which may have arc-ed and melted the box slightly. Anyone know what that box is called so I can find it?
Three covers which say MEGA. It would seem this is for starting the car.
could use some help on this. Thanks. Peter
