I just joined looking to buy a 05-07 vp or xjr in mettalic green or the 2 dark grey colors with light interior under 40k miles that is best way to find one via forum i am open to go a long way for the right car

I think you my struggle to find a 15 year old jag with only 45.000 miles on the clock. I would have loved to have found one in green when looking for mine a few months ago but could only fine a good one in silver. Anyway I wish you good look in your search.

wheels should be no issue as they can be changed easily

Long way from New York to Colorado ! Car certainly looks immaculate, so maybe worth a trip. When I bought my second XJ, a 2007, it was on about 50k miles and I bought it from a London dealer which is 160 miles away, and regarded as quite a long way to go to see a car !! Car was very good, BTW.

The radio is in the the navi screen with climate controls etc. What is below it in what used to be the ashtray is the optional Sirius radio. Seems it had spent a good bit of time in the sun judging from the floormats in the trunk vs the cabin compartment color. It may have been a southern car bought at auction. Something to check into. If it spent its life in CO I would suspect there would be undercarriage corrosion.

Just be sure to spend the extra bucks on a car inspection if you are not buying local and can't travel to see it in person. I almost bought a real low mileage Mercedes from a well known, and by all accounts, a reputable California dealer. Paid a inspection service and who went out, inspected and test drove it for me. They sent a ton of videos and pictures and came to find out, that low mileage cream puff was a factory buyback (not listed on Carfax) that had previous electrical problems and sat somewhere for several years before being sold off. No telling how many thousands of dollars that inspection saved me.
