Default New to me 2004 XJ8

It's been about two months now since I purchased one of my all time favorite cars. The car had 56,000 miles on it was always garage kept and owned by two other owners, both Seniors.

I knew it had some issues due to the low sales price 7250.00, but some of the major issues were already taken care of. These cars this clean and with low miles are in the 10,000 dollar range here in Southern CA. I had looked for months and everyone that was priced right it seemed would sale by the time I contacted them.

I wasn't crazy about the black but feel fortunate to get her and want to say thanks for the great resource this site is it was very helpful in me determining what to look for and then to diagnose some of the issues.

So far I had the Suspension Compressor, and a EFI sensor replaced. The control arms are next, It appears most of the other problems with this car have been resolved ( New throttle body, transmission oil change, new T Stat housing)

Thanks to all

There is nothing on the planet that drives like a Jag. My ol' XJ40 VDP was black with Doe, and I love that combination.
