So I had to change wheels cause I didn't trust repairing the factory wheels. Since I already had bought new tires for the OEM 20's I decided to stay with 20" wheels. I found a good deal on some Niche Wheels. I'm sure most of you are aware that its hard to find a nice set of wheels made to fit X350s. Niche has a couple of nice choices depending on the diameter you want. And if you want to spend more they can custom make a set for you. These are a 20X9 with ET38. So they are almost the same as the OEMs, Just moved out 11mm. I also lowered the front about an 1" with some washers. So far there is no rubbing. I like that the wheels are 9" wide so I'll be able to put wider tires on next time. Most other wheels made to fit X350s are only 8.5" wide or less. As a bonus, these wheels felt noticeably lighter than the 20" Sepangs, I didn't weigh them to compare unfortunately. I could feel a slight difference in the steering due to the lighter wheels. There was more feedback from the tires, almost like I could feel more of the little bumps in the road but not really in a bad way. I think the heavy Sepangs dampened more of those tiny bumps. Anyway, I'm happy with the look of the car and if anybody wants to pick up a set of Sepangs that need a refurbish let me know.
Are you looking at installing (sticking) the jaguar logo centers?
I was hoping to put the Jag center caps on but the Niche centers are much bigger. I haven't figured out what to do yet but for now I don't mind the Niche center caps
I have different opinion Being good looking wheels themselves for sure fro modern cars, they are not even close to look of classic gorgeous Sepangs, especially on very classic look x350, especially with chrome rings They could suit x358 maybe.. definitely new x351, but that's modern soap looking cars. Refurb your Sepangs and swap them back. I would just advice to put on spacers 20mm front and 20-25mm rear to look them slick with body. Also increase drop a bit by 15-20mm all corners and you will be amazed how clean, solid and stock car will be looking!
I'm hoping you see this. I'm looking into buying this car, and I think it's your old one: The two tone interior and carbon fiber are pretty recognizable.
I'm a little wary, as the guy is selling multiple cars and isn't a dealer. Also, he says "supercharger replaced, engine rebuilt, and transmission rebuilt", which seems like a lot for 84K miles.
If that is your old car, is there anything you can tell me about it? Would you recommend buying it? I've wanted a XJR for a long time and this one is NICE.
Huh. For some reason the board blocked the Facebook marketplace add it says: "Selling my Jaguar 2004 XJR Supercharge In Excellent Condition. Replaced Supercharge, Rebuilt Transmission, Rebuild Engine Have All Paper Work. Everything in working condition. Asking Only $8,300 any questions you could contact me I’ll be glad to answer them all. Thanks For Viewing."
