New Owner of a 2009 Jaguar XJ Portfolio

I have started following Ports in the last year or so. While the 16K mile car is nice I personally think its about 10K to high. This is my opinion though.... and that being said I know I paid probably 2500 to much (given market pricing) for my XJR but..... it checked all the right boxes for me so it doesn't matter.. Im keeping it.
While I believe the rarity of this Port will probably be fine a long way down the road I think the seller is trying to get that long term profit now. Again, doesn't matter what the price is if THATS the car that checks all the boxes.
I do love the new XJ......especially the waterfall taillights but..... the 350/358 to me is the last of the original classic bodystyle and if I could find a 07-09 l, Port or Super for a steal I would definitely add it to the stable.

I have also been following this thread and own a 2009 Super V8 Portfolio in Astral Gold.
Have a quick question; I have the original Selena wheels, however, one of them has a little curb rash.
Where would be the best place to take the wheel to get the curb rash removed? Would an authorized Jaguar body shop be able to fix? Or is their expertise going to be mainly bodywork / body paneling / etc..
Also, what are the process steps that are typically done to remove curb rash. I am assuming sanding out the rash and then painting over. Is this correct? How do they fill areas of curb rash that might be too deep to sand out?

Curb Rash
Michael: I hadn't heard that name for it before! I just took all four of my Selenas off and put on cheapo winter rims and tires; I'm having lots of rash dealt with, but then I'm going to mothball the Selenas and downsize to a 19" wheel with a bigger profile. My guy sends the wheels out to Blackburn in Ohio (Blackburn OEM Wheel Solutions ? Original Equipment Wheels, Rims, Hubcaps and More) and by now I think they've done most of my wheels at least once. They align the rim and recondition it beautifully; costs about $200 but it really does look new. I've had some pretty bad gashes before, and they came back looking good; don't know what the technique is for bad damage, but I suggest that you call them to discuss. Check, but I think you'll need to remove the chrome part of the spokes for them, and when you do, you'll need a few new clips from the Jag dealer to put them back afterwards!

2009 Jaguar XJ Portfolio
Does anybody have or know of a 2009 Astral Gold XJ Portfolio for sale?
I am looking for one with very low miles and am willing to pay top dollar for the right car. Thanks!
Doug Levene 205-229-4000 or levene@bellsouth.net

dlevene,
I do not plan to sell my Portfolio. I think if I sold it, I would have regrets.
The car is mint, has very low miles (under 13k), has the original Monroney window sticker, all documentation and is a very rare model. Jaguar manufactured only 140 total worldwide, with probably half being in the Astral Gold.
I also purchased last year all new leather seating surfaces for installation, as I want the car to be perfect to show at concours events.

Same here! Ironically, the one I almost grabbed is the one that @GoldenBoy in this thread got. (& he has 2) Of course this was way after I got my XJ8-L, but I had no idea about Portfolios @the time...

X358/350 Portfolio = Super V8 (supercharged)
X351 Portfolio = higher trim than base (non-supercharged)
